My debut novel, Guns & Smoke, released on July 10th! To celebrate, we partnered with our local independent bookstore, Cavalier House Books, and held a party at Le Chien Brewing Company.
After months of writing, editing, and marketing, we finally released our baby into the world. There’s nothing quite so sweet as getting to do what you love and share it with the people that you love. I knew when we started talking about throwing a party that I wanted to make it a lot of fun.
Given that Guns & Smoke is all about gunslingers and outlaws, what could be more fun than a giant Wanted poster for people to take pictures in?!
We sold a bunch of books and got to visit with all of our friends and family. It was really amazing to see everyone come together to celebrate with us. It’s always been my dream to be a published author. To be able to do that alongside my best friend, to be able to share that dream with everyone else, means more than I could ever say.
So far, the response to Guns & Smoke has been great. Nearly everyone that I know who has read it can’t wait for the next novel in the series, and I can’t wait to share it with you all.
